Privacy Policy
Cryptly is designed with privacy at its core. We never see your secrets in plain text.
What we store
We store only encrypted data: an opaque identifier, encrypted payload, expiry timestamp, and consumption timestamp. Encryption keys never leave your browser — they are embedded in the URL fragment (#) which is not sent to our servers.
Data retention
Secrets are automatically deleted when they expire. One-time secrets are deleted immediately after the first view. We do not retain plaintext data because we never receive it.
GDPR compliance
We process minimal personal data. No accounts are required. Our infrastructure is hosted in the EU. You have the right to request information about data we hold associated with a link identifier.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only for language and theme preferences. No tracking or analytics cookies.
